Jalapa (formally: Santa María Jalapa del Marqués) is a small city in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It serves as the administrative centre for the surrounding municipality (municipio) of the same name.

Jalapa del Marqués is located at 16°30′N 95°27′W. It stands on Federal Highway 190, on the southern shore of the Presa Juárez reservoir.

Jalapa de Díaz is a town in Oaxaca on the southern shore of the Presa Miguel Alemán reservoir, some 50 km west of Tuxtepec.

Jalapa del Valle is a village in Oaxaca some 12 km to the northwest of state capital Oaxaca, Oaxaca.
