Jalal Talebi

Jalal Talebi is an Iranian football manager. He was the head coach of the Iranian team at 1998 FIFA World Cup. Prior to the tournament, he was appointed to replace Tomislav Ivic after Iran lost 1–7 to A.S. Roma in a warmup friendly match. He stepped down as head coach after World Cup 1998, but returned to lead the team again during Asia Cup 2000 in Lebanon. He resigned after Iran's elimination in the tournament. He also has managed some Syrian football clubs, Singapore S.League Teams including Geylang United FC and the Indonesian Olympic Team. He now lives in Palo Alto, California.
