Jakob Senneby

Jakob Senneby (b.1971 in Stockholm)is an artist that is occupied with researching into the potentiality of digital media to work as organisational tools for participatory production. The work span from investigating the avatar and identity in distributed systems, to larger scaled community organisations. Jakob Senneby graduated (MFA) from The Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm 2004 and has shown his work at institutions in both Sweden and internationally

In 2001 he co-founded the collaborative project Abnormalaudio as a platform for experiments with audio and new-media.

In 2004 he initiated the collaborative project "Value creation in and beyond virtual communities, exploring possibilities of using on-line worlds as an arena for art production.
