Jake Wood (born 12 July 1972) is a British actor.

He has appeared in many television shows since 1985, including Red Dwarf and Doc Martin. He also appeared in Vera Drake. As well as these he appeared in Le Café des Rêves, a BBC produced 5 part serial drama produced by the BBC for French Students.

He plays Max Branning in EastEnders.

Jake Wood is the voice of the gecko in the GEICO commercials.

Jake also featured as part of a team presenting 'Click', a computer games magazine on VHS video in the early '90s.
