Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival

The three-day Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival (JJF) is a major Indonesian jazz festival.

Foreign musicians from Europe, Australia, Asia, Japan, the USA and South America participated in the March 2006 event. 22 international musicians were contracted for the event, including James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, Eric Benet and Angie Stone. More than 80 Indonesian artists from a range of musical genres also participated. The artists performed on 11 stages inside the Jakarta Convention Center and entertained a total of 47,000 visitors in the country's biggest musical event as of 2006.
