Jairo Patiño

Jairo Patiño (born 5 April 1978 in Cali) is a Colombian professional football player who currently plays as a midfielder for River Plate.
Patiño started his career at his hometown club Deportivo Cali, before moving to Argentina to join Newell's Old Boys. After impressing in the Argentine league, he was signed by River Plate.
He is also a regular in the Colombian national football team. Patiño also helped Colombia to disputed the semifinals in which Colombia lossed by Panama 3-2 in the Concacaf Gold Cup.
