Jairo Guedz was the first guitarist of the original lineup of the Brazilian Heavy Metal band Sepultura. He left the band in 1987 being replaced by Andreas Kisser. Jairo also played guitar on The Mist and Overdose, both metal bands from Brazil. He is also father of Igor and Érico, 17 and 12 years old respectively. Nowadays he lives in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
