Jaime Arturo Lozano Espín (born September 29, 1979 in Mexico City) is a Mexican football player who, as of 2006 was playing for UANL Tigres. In Tigres, he plays midfielder position with the number 21. He is often simply called "Jimmy" Lozano, however, sometimes he is also called in other media as "El Actor" because he was born to a family of actors (in the Spanish version of EA Sports' FIFA series, he is called this way). Lozano is well known for his free-kicks and his left foot.
He debuted with Pumas UNAM in 1998, and until 2001, when he moved to Celaya to play for a team that then contested in the Mexican First Division, but has since been relegated. In 2002 he returned to Pumas where he won the Mexican Championship twice, after which he was signed by Tigres in what was the most impressive contract of the Apertura 2005 season.
He has been called for the Mexican National Team many times, becoming instrumental in qualyfying to the 2006 FIFA World Cup. However, a series of injuries had kept him from the team in most recent matches. Nevertheless, he has been nominated by Ricardo Lavolpe in the hope that his condition improves for the competition.
