JAGNER is a small town and a nagar panchayat in Agra district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Jagner is famous for stone and musturd oil extraction. there are many tourist places in jagner . It is famous for GWAL BABA .This is around 55 km from Agra and one can get direct bus from agra frequently. it takes around 1 hr . main occupation of people is business and agriculture. Main business are stone, musturd oil extraction and small scale industries. This place has produced many doctors and engineers for country inspite of very low standard of education here. Jagner name is derived from the name of king Jagan Singh. who was a ruler in 19th cent. there are 2 inter college in jagner.
