I'm from Northern California and just recently found this wonderful wikipedia place! I'm most skilled in ecology and water resources, but have been treading my toes into issues related to developing nations, particularly as related to water resources, agriculture, international trade, and poverty.

Philosophical and political leanings are secular humanist and Green. Free time is spent mountain biking, backpacking, camping, reading, and gardening, although with this new WikiAddiction (see Wikipediholic) I've taken on, the latter two are probably going to fall off for awhile...

Oh, and Jaded Thea is just a pen name, based sort of on the author Dorothy Parker and sort of on my grandma's name.
