Jadu CMS

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Jadu CMS is a non-technical Web Content Management system developed originally for simple publishing of web pages. Developed in two iterations: Jadu eXpress is designed for basic but powerful web site management. Jadu Enterprise CMS is designed for publishing within large organisations.

With a unique and intuitive interface, the Jadu CMS system has been adopted by many businesses and public sector organisations across the UK. The advance of eGovernment inside the UK's Local Authorities positioned Jadu as the leading provider of CMS to Local Government.

In 2005, Jadu partnered with Google Inc. and deployed a record 14 Google Enterprise Search Systems in Government in just two months. The Google Mini search is now included and integrated into all Jadu CMS products.

Jadu CMS uses XML taxonomy structures to index and categorise information, presenting the content in any format using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The system includes an entire taxonomy management system which enables non-technical development of taxonomies and category structures.
