I have lived in Highland Heights, Ohio since I was 4 years old. In high school, I worked at the Cuyahoga County Public Library for nearly three years. I also visited Quebec and Montreal twice, which made a big impact on me.

I just graduated with a BA in English The College of Wooster. I also had departmental honors and was cum laude. I am very proud of my time spent as a DJ and as Program Director at the college station WCWS, though I no longer work there. Right now I am searching for a job, because personal reasons compel me to stay at home and help out right now. I'd still like to attend Kent State University to become a librarian.

[edit] Invisible disability

I was diagnosed with vasovagal syncope in 2000 and again in 2002 (long story, that). I had a Medtronic pacemaker implanted in 2003. My condition is also being controlled using Atenolol. In addition, my doctor and I have found that an oral contraceptive made my blood pressure look more "normal," so for those women with vasovagal syncope who are otherwise healthy, I suggest you try it!

This is the curriculum vitae of my current doctor managing my condition, Mark D. Carlson. I am happy with him.
