Was Fisk originally a colonel or a commander? Zarboki 08:45, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'm nat exactly sure, but I think Fisk was a Colonel (like Tigh) in "Pegasus" and "Resurrection Ship" during his time under Admiral Cain, and that he was promoted to Commander after she died and I think that was mentioned in the following episode "Epiphanies". According to Battlestar Wiki was Commander when he died. BSG's ranking system is confusing since they use a combination of Naval and Army ranks. Apollo for instance, started the show as Captain, and was promoted to Major when he served under Commander Garner. When Garner died, Apollo became Commander, seemingly skipping the rank of Colonel in the process. Here is a list of ranks in the reimagined series: RDM Ranks Cyberia23 23:07, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

- BSG's rank system is not confused. The fact that ranks of the same name do not represent different ranks in different branches is less confused than having a Colonel be the same as a Captain. 70.55.84.98 22:37, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
