Jacques Abramoff

Jacques Abramoff (1927-1997) businessman, philantropist, and inventor, was born in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
After the Communist Revolution, the Abramoff family moved to Paris, France, and started ground floor with 5 groceries stores in 1932, and quickly built their own wholesaler compagny, specialized in importing dried fruits, vegetables, cheeses, rices, cereals, olives, spices and teas, from all over the world.
Jacques Abramoff was a Monaco businessman with wide-ranging interests, including the shoe polish industry, plastic and chemical products, knitted clothes, natural food.
He was also a supporter of the french Chabad organisation, and President of the Monaco Jewish community.
