Jacob ben Reuben

Jacob ben Reuben (in Hebrew, Ya'akov ben Reuven is the name of several figures in Jewish history:

  1. Jacob ben Reuben (Karaite); an eleventh-century Karaite scholar, probably from Constantinople;
  2. Jacob ben Reuben (rabbi); author of a polemical work against Christianity.
  3. Jacob ben Reuben ibn Zur; Moroccan rabbi of the eighteenth century CE.
