Jacob Thorkelson

Jacob Thorkelson (1876-09-24 Egersund, Norway1945-12-20 Butte, Montana) was a United States Representative from Montana from 1939-01-03 to 1941-01-03.

Thorkelson immigrated to the United States and served in the Virginian and United States Navy Reserves. He also practiced medicine and surgery.

He unsuccessfully ran for renomination in the House of Representatives in 1940, the Senate in 1942, and for Governor in 1944.
