Jacob Purdy House

The Jacob Purdy House is home to the White Plains Historical Society. It was more than once used as George Washington's headquarters during the American Revolutionary War.

A National Register Historic Places plaque commemorates the dates of George Washington's occupancy. The house came into the possession of Jacob Purdy about 1785.
