Jacob Pleydell-Bouverie, 2nd Earl of Radnor was born on 4 March 1750 and died on 27 January 1828. He was the son of William de Bouverie, 1st Earl of Radnor and Harriet Pleydell. He married Hon. Anne Duncombe, daughter of Anthony Duncombe, 1st and last Baron Feversham and Anne Hales, on 24 January 1777 and had 5 children:


  • William Pleydell-Bouverie, 3rd Earl of Radnor (b. 11 May 1779, d. 9 April 1869)
  • Duncombe Pleydell Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 28 June 1780, d. 5 November 1850)
  • Lawrence Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 6 August 1781, d. 23 November 1811)
  • Reverend Hon. Frederick Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 16 November 1785, d. 6 June 1857)
  • Philip Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 21 October 1788, d. 27 May 1872)
