Jacksoul is a Canadian band that plays soul, r&b, and jazz music with smooth, funky rhythms and melodies. It was nominated for a Canadian Juno Award for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year, and a Canadian Urban Music Award in 2004. It won a Juno Award in 2000.

Haydain Neale, the lead singer, had experimented and had performed for several artists, including the legendary James Brown on his tour also that year. Neale had established the release of their first album Absolute in 1996 with BMG records. The band has a had a few hit singles from the Sleepless album in 2000, "Can't Stop" and "Somedays". Their biggest single across Canada was "Still Believe in Love" from the Resurrected album in 2004.

The latest album, mySoul, is a collection of cover songs from a wide variety of artists. According to Neale, this new album “is a window into the history of soul, a celebration of the music I grew up on, the stuff that inspired us as songwriters and the tunes I still sing in the shower." Fans new and old will be treated to an eclectic mix of songs written by Radiohead, Curtis Mayfield and Jane's Addiction, to name a few. Neale is in a nationwide campaign for the ROOTS World Cup in 2006. He was one of the Canadian celebrities who came together for the Tsunami Relief Concert on CBC. Other band members include Justin Abedin (guitarist), Davide Direnzo (drums), Ron Lapota (keys) and John Kanakis (bass). Jacksoul has also opened for Nelly Furtado at a music festival in Ontario some years ago. The band has performed at the Vancouver Jazz Festival with R&B diva Divine Brown in 2006.
