Jackson Island

Jackson Island is an island located at 81.2297222° N 56.6288889° E. It is a part of the Franz Josef Land, Russia. Cape Norway (80°12′N 55°37′E) was where Fridtjof Nansen and Hjalmar Johansen wintered in 1895-96 after failing to reach the North Pole. A hut and a wooden post still remain.
