Jackie Corkhill (nee Walker) was a fictional character in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside played by Sue Jenkins. Sue Jenkins played the role from 1990 until 2001 before finally leaving two years before the show aired its final episode.
Jackie had a turbulent marriage to her husband Jimmy and his involvement in drugs nearly ripped them apart, when Jimmy became mentally ill the marriage crumbled prompting Jackie to leave.
Jackie was last seen going to live with her sister Val who she often visited throughout the series. She took her baby son William Corkhill with her who often returned to the series to see his father Jimmy Corkhill.
