Jack Stanley Gibson

Dr Jack Stanley Gibson advocated the use of hypnosis as an alternative to anaesthetics.
John Gibson was born in 1909. He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, in 1933. He became the youngest ever, at the age of 25, to gain the fellowship in 1934.
Dr Gibson died peacefully in the Naas General Hospital on Saturday 2 April 2005 aged 95.
