[edit] Personal history

Tough and ambitious, Jack Rudolph is chairman of the National Broadcasting System and says in "Nevada Day 1" that he already has his eyes on the top job in the Tunney Media Group. He was responsible for the firing of Matt Albie in 2002, and is resentful about having to hire Matt and Danny back in the pilot episode. In "Nevada Day 2", he says that he is a lawyer. In The Christmas Show he goes beserk because, while the NBS news department was airing a live interview with a soldier in Afghanistan, an RPG was fired at the soldier and the reporter and narrowly missed hitting them, and the soldier uttered an expletive, and the FCC is going to fine NBS for obscenity. His wife's name is Marylyn.
