Jack Hatfield

John Gatenby ("Jack") Hatfield (born August 15, 1893 — died March 30, 1965) was a competitive swimmer, who won medals for Great Britain in the early Olympiads. He went on to found a sporting goods store in Middlesbrough which continues business today. The store sponsors local sports, including a football league.
He served in the British Expeditionary Force in World War I.
