Jack Evans was a fictional character in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. He was played by the identical twins Samuel and Joseph Timson.
Jack was the son of Barry and Natalie Evans and he had a traumatic breech birth early in 2002.
Jack initially lived with his parents, his grandfather Roy and Roy's wife Pat, but moved out of Albert Square in March 2003 following his parents divorce. Barry was devoted to Jack and agonised over the fact that he couldn't be a full-time father to him.
Jack's father met an untimely demise early in 2004 and as no will was in place, Barry's new wife Janine Evans inherited all Barry's money and assets and left Jack with nothing. When Jack's mother discovered that Janine was responsible for Barry's death, she left Walford for a new start with Jack. Before they departed, Natalie and Jack planted a tree on the Square in Barry's name. Jack's last appearance was in May 2004.
