Ja'net Du Bois

Ja'net Du Bois (pronounced /zæ'neɪ.du.bwɑ/ or Zha-NAY Doo-BWAH, born August 5, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American film and television actress.

Du Bois is perhaps best known for her portrayal of the wise-cracking and gossip-prone neighbor Willona Woods on the 1970s sitcom Good Times. Du Bois also composed and sang the theme song of the long-running sitcom The Jeffersons, and has appeared in a number of other television programs (usually as a guest star) and in films. Du Bois also played the grandmother on the hit show The Wayans Bros.

She co-starred in the movie I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, and has most recently appeared in the 2003 summer blockbuster, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. She won an Emmy for her work on the TV movie Other Women's Children based on the novel by Perri Klass.
