[edit] How To Save OBOT
It's not Wikipedia's job to help spread things. Encyclopaedias document things that are already notable; get it famous elsehow first, then it might merit an article. Why not copy the article text into a userpage and then you can rewrite it as it becomes more significantly reported "in the wild". You'll know the article is improved when it has a reference to some source(s) that have reported it to some wide audience (a school newspaper isn't usually very notable except for some larger universities or what-have-you), and when it's no longer feasible to list all "constant members" (because there are too many).
The current article will very probably be deleted, and rightly so, but if you are serious about having an article in then you should brush up on how to do it first. The most important point is establishing notability, which necessarily can't be done within the bounds of Wikipedia itself. (Also there's the question of a conflict of interests, since you appear to be one of the creators. A really notable topic could usually have its article written by an uninvolved party.)
