J Boogie

Jason "J" Boogie is an American DJ/producer from San Francisco, California. He is signed to the Om Records label, and has been featured on every OM Lounge release. His style includes a mixture of hip-hop, funk, nujazz, afrobeat, latin, dancehall, soul, and electronic. He is also the creator of the radio show "Beatsauce," on KUSF, which was awarded "Best hip-hop show" by citysearch.com.

Jason has a group called J Boogie's Dubtronic Science, which features himself and a few other frequent contributors. Although Dubtronic Science uses production techniques popularized in Dub music, they do not fall under that genre. Since the release of the J Boogie's Dubtronic Science album in 2003, J has only released singles or remixes of popular songs from the previous album.
