[edit] Clean up
This article needs heavy cleanup. I've tried to remove some of the blatant card-stacking, deceptive quoting, redundant linking, and commercial linking going on here, but a lot more work needs to be done. ThuranX 05:42, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
The paragraph beginning "On March 14, 1995..." contains the start of a quote but is missing closing quotation marks.--Mr Grant 08:56, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Biographical Info Needed
Thanks for the help. Two things missing:
- Date of Birth
- Patents, particularly patents for PRT (Taxi 2000)
There is a very good bio of J. Edward Anderson in the book "Transportation Rennaisance" [1][2] I don't know how to source written material. I hope other people with more experience editing Wikipedia will take care of that.
I'm sure there's more that can be done to improve the article. Thanks again for your help.Avidor 14:56, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] citations
Ok. My fault. I totally toasted a cite on here, and hte stupid template just isn't repeating the cite properly. Hope someone can fix it. I sure can't. ThuranX 15:52, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Maybe I can help. Which cite?Avidor 18:15, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
well, it's the only reference cite onthe page. check at hte bottom, it's the blank listing for citation 2. they're the same link, and should be stacked as 1. with superscripted lowercase letters to reflect multiple incidences of citation, but I can't get the 'name' attribute to work right. [edit] BLP Listing.
This article has a discussion in progress at the BLP/Noticeboard, here: [3] ThuranX 17:31, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Nixon
ThuranX said this: "removed ridiculous POV pushing. 'claimed to' implies he's lying.)"[4]... Just for the record, It was not my intention to imply that Dr. Anderson was lying, it's just that I am unable to find an independent source that says Anderson met with Nixon's aides. Dr. Anderson says Nixon supported PRT here[5] and I have no reason to doubt him... just trying to stick to the facts.Avidor 18:27, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- In keeping with AGF, I'll assume you jsut couldn't find another phrasing. Avidor, I recommend you read the BLP/N link I posted above. You've got a bias against Anderson and PRT so pervasive and renowned that your creation of this page instantly provoked a BLP/Noticeboard mention. I suggest you work hard to avoid the appearance of POV pushing, as you're already at a disadvantage regarding editing for neutrality. ThuranX 18:31, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

- Nevermind. Your behavior on the AfD for this article shows you're not using Good Faith, but pushing some ridiculous agenda to remove all references to a form of technology you oppose. ThuranX 22:27, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I am sorry you feel that way. I appreciate your efforts to improve the article. If I thought anyone would challenge this article's notability, I would not have written it...I have started two other articles recently and those articles have not been challenged for notability... thanks again...Avidor 23:44, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- Whatever. You're a bad faith editor who promotes heavily biased articles opposing something you don't like. I'm going to nominate both of those articles you referred to later tonight. It's all a systematic attempt to discredit an idea you've publicly opppossed before. ThuranX 23:56, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
