J.P. Taravella High School is a secondary school located in Coral Springs, Florida which teaches grades 9-12. It has achieved the status of an "A" school and is ranked within the top 1% of all public high schools in the United States. It was also the recipient of the national school of excellence award, and also was a State of Florida "A" rated school.

The J.P. Taravella Band is a very honorable program. They have performed for the Queen in England. Recently, they placed 2nd in the Crown Jewel Marching Competition held by the Vero Beach High School.
