Thanks I will!
I'm not sure your landmarks of Toronto template is a good idea. "Landmark" is an inherently POV term and there are many hundreds of Toronto locales that can be considered a "landmark". - SimonP 06:12, Dec 29, 2004 (UTC)
Oh I'm sorry, I just copied the idea from a template I saw on the Atlanta article. I think the template is ok, because it basically shows the most important attractions in Toronto, not just any old attraction some may call a 'landmark'. I tried to pick a variety of places, from the arts to sports to government, etc...--J2rome 06:33, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] new collaboration project
You'd you be interested in participating in a new Collaboration project that aims at translating good and featured articles in the French Wikipedia to English (much like the Spanish Translation of the Week)? I'm trying to see if there's enough users interested in this project before creating it. Thank you. CG 17:45, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Wikimedia Canada
Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 14:40, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:Airfranceflight358 78.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Airfranceflight358 78.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. CLW 07:28, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
