J-Rize

J-Rize is the stage name of Justin Cadieux (born June 13, 1984 in Windsor, Ontario), a Canadian rapper. Rize started rapping with fellow rapper Hush, who showed him the ropes of rapping and helped him get to where he is today. Rize later met up with Nekos during the summer of 2000, and Nekos thought that they should make some tracks together. In 2002, Nekos got in the studio to start recording the Xplicit Elitez album Verbal Warfare, and called up Rize to do a few songs.

Nekos, along with the other member of XE, Phokus, were impressed with Rize and decided to add him to the group. For the next few months, the trio finished up the CD and released it in June of 2002. It turned a few heads and managed to get them some college radio airplay, as well as a few shows.

Rize knew Bruce B, so after Bruce heard the Verbal Warfare album and the newest track by Rize and Nekos at the time named My Way (found on Street Value), Bruce saw potential in the two and signed them to R.A.W. Records.

After signing with RAW in early 2003, they quickly got to work on their new album, Street Value.

Today, J-Rize has a wonderful Son, Named Jayce Ryan Kayden Cadieux. The mother a intelligent young lady Ashley Hayward. They have been through a rocky past, Now they are separated. In an interview, J-Rize had said "I still love her, I just Simply cannot take all the drama with her family anymore".
