Jürgen Graf

Jürgen Graf (born August 15, 1951, Basel) is a Swiss Holocaust denier. He studied philology at the University of Basel, and spent several years working as a school teacher and speaks over 23 languages. He became acquainted with the revisionist view of the Holocaust by accident in 1991 and published several books on the subject in the 1990s.

In 1998 Jürgen Graf and his publisher, Gerhard Förster, were prosecuted by a Swiss court for Holocaust denial. In July 1998, Graf was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment and a fine. However, he fled to avoid prosecution and went into exile in August 2000. He married a Belarusian woman in 2001 and is currently living in Moscow, working as a translator.
