József Fabchich

József Fabchich (March 13, 1753, Kőszeg – December 23, 1809, Győr) was Hungarian writer and translator, known mainly due to his translations of Ancient Greek poetry (namely Sappho, Alcman, Alcaeus, Anacreon, Stesichorus, Pindar and others) into Hungarian language. Most of these translations were published in Győr in 1804.
