Ix or IX may refer to:
- The Roman numeral representing the number nine — literally one (I) less than ten (X).
- (There are also separate Unicode characters for this number, 0x2168 "Ⅸ" and 0x2178 "ⅸ").
- Internet Exchange, or Internet Exchange Point.
- iX: A German monthly computer magazine.
- The IX multilevel-secure Unix operating system
- The US Navy hull classification symbol for an "Unclassified Miscellaneous" ship. In the last few decades of her commission, USS Constellation was classified as IX-20, and for several decades, USS Constitution was IX-21.
- The Maya jaguar god supporting the west portion of the sky. See Maya mythology.

- A fictional country in the book Queen Zixi of Ix by L. Frank Baum, neighboring on the Land of Oz.
- A nickname for Ford Prefect — a character from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy — that translates into "boy who is not able satisfactorily to explain what a Hrung is, nor why it should choose to collapse on Betelgeuse Seven".
- ix, a series of automatic teller machines manufactured by Diebold
- iX is the name of Megaman X's sadistic alter-ego, who originated from the Limited Virus created by Dr. Doppler in the Rockman Mega Mission manga adaptation.
- IX is the name of a series of websites from Swiss based travel operator Ixeo
