THE BRITISH OCCUPATION OF JAVA; An Indian soldier guards a former Japanese army light tank used by Indonesian nationalists until knocked out by British forces during the figthing in Surabaya (Soerabaja).

Remark: The caption is misleading. What really is on the picture, is some unusual local conversion of british Universal carrier. Either japans or Indonesian nationalists supplied the vehicle with armored roof and turret.
