Ivaylo Petkov (Bulgarian: Ивайло Петков) (born December 7, 1975 in Dolni Dabnik, Pleven) is a Bulgarian football player who, as of 2004 was playing for Fenerbahçe. As of 2005, he was playing for Ankaragücü.
Petkov enjoys marauding up the left flank but is rarely caught out of a position and has developed into one of Bulgaria's most consistent defenders.
Recently Petkov has been on trial with Scottish club Celtic but has failed to earn a permanent deal and has returned to Bulgaria (8 August 2006).
However there is reported interest from Galatasaray, Hertha Berlin and Willem II to gain the services of the unnattached defender.
