Ivan Tikhon (Belarusian: Іван Ціхан / Ivan Cichan; Russian: Иван Тихон) (born July 24, 1976, Slonim) is a Belarusian hammer thrower. He is a two-time world champion and an olympic silver medalist (2004 Summer Olympics).

Ivan Tikhon was born in the village of Hlasievicy, Slonim district, Hrodna voblast in Belarus. He now lives in Hrodna. His wife Volha is also an athlete, she was a discus thrower. They have one son, Ivan.

Ivan Tikhon became the world champion for the first time in 2003 at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics in Paris, with a throw of 83.03 meters.
In Helsinki, at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics he repeated his achievement. His throw (83.89 m) was clearly beyond the reach for anyone, with the exception of Vadim Deviatovsky, a compatriot from Belarus who got silver medal (82.60 m).
Ivan Tikhon is a champion of Belarus, 2005. During that championship he broke the national record, coming within just one centimeter of the world record (86.73 meters). The current world record remains unbroken since 1986 (before the era when a total war on doping was launched) when Soviet athlete Yuriy Sedykh made the historic throw (86.74m) in Stuttgart.
With a 79.81m throw Ivan Tikhon came second in the Men's Hammer Throw in Athens.
