Iván Pérez Rossi was born in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, August 3, 1943, his musical activity is intimately tie with the life of the musical group Serenata Guayanesa of which he is charter member since 1971. Within this Organization one also evolves not only like singer and cuatro player, also like arreglist and composer. Parallelly to his artistic life he made superior studies graduating as Civil Engineer in the Central University of Venezuela in 1968, specializing later in Ground Mechanics. He is author of a book of infantile songs, titled “We sing with the children”, who contains in addition a practical method for the execution of the cuatro, like companion of those melodys.
