Itchen Abbas

Itchen Abbas is a small village in Hampshire, England. The village lies in the valley of the River Itchen. Charles Kingsley was a regular visitor to the village and it provided inspiration, along with the river, for the setting of the Water Babies in the 19th century things changed as railways were built
