[edit] Current Day Italian Hardcore
Nowadays the scene is dominated by the bands such as La Quiete, La Crisi and Raein, most of the bands having a sound closer to modern hardcore and screamo than of old school hardcore.
The most popular and large Hardcore-Punk scene in Italy is located in Rome, where bands like Timebomb, Redemption, Purification, Colonna Infame, Receipt, Tear Me Down, Face The Fact and Strength Approach ruled from the last years of the 90's to the early years of the 21th century... Nowadays Rome gives his contribute with bands like The Difference, To Kill, Die!, Payback, The Fourth Sin, Think About, Jet Market, Alltrue and dozens more. A new old school wave is coming over, and the number of the bands is growing everyday more.
Other actual italian bands which can't be forgotten are No More Fear, Ingegno, Values Intact, Evolution So Far, Affluente and Death of Anna Karina.
