Italian Somaliland somalo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The somalo was the currency of Italian Somaliland between 1950 and 1962. It was subdivided into 100 centesimi. The somalo replaced the East African shilling at par and remained equal to it. The somalo was replaced (along with the East African shilling being used in British Somaliland) by the Somali shilling at par.
