"It's Not Your Fault" is the lead single to be released from New Found Glory's 2006 album, Coming Home. The band has performed the song a few times this year on their spring tour.
On July 1, 2006, the song spread onto the Internet after being released on a Suretone Records sampler CD. Fans have noted the song as a progression for the band, losing the pop-punk characteristics for a more straight forward, melodic rock sound. [citation needed]
The video for the single premiered on MTV on August 1 2006 and can now be seen on the MTV music channel.
