Stephen Báthory (in Hungarian, Báthory István; 1477-1534) was a Hungarian noble and a loyal adherent of Hungary's King John Zápolya. In 1529 he was made voivode of Transylvania.

Báthory's youngest son was crowned King of Poland as Stefan Batory.
