Israel "Magnifico" Vázquez(born December 25, 1977 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer. He is currently the World Boxing Council(WBC) Super-Bantamweight champion, and a former International Boxing Federation(IBF) Super-Bantamweight champion. He has an overall record of 41-3 (with 30 wins by KO).
On December 3, 2005 Vázquez beat Oscar Larios by TKO on 3rd rounds, for the WBC world championship title. His trainer is Freddie Roach who is a very famous trainer.
In his most recent bout, he knocked out the WBO Bantamweight champion Jhonny González (who was moving up in weight) on September 16, 2006.
