Isoko South
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Isoko South Local Government Area (LGA) of Delta State of Nigeria, with its headquarters at Oleh, is one of the two (2) local governments that make up the Isoko region. The other is Isoko North LGA (with its headquarters at Ozoro).
There are a number of towns and villages in the area, of which Oleh is the most important, by virtue of the fact that it is the biggest and most prominent. Uzere is, however, one of the more significant towns, as it is the largest oil (petroleum) producing town in the Isoko community).
Clans inhabiting Isoko South include the Aviara, Emede, Enhwe, Erohwah, Igbide, Irri, Okpolo, Oleh, Umeh and Uzere [1].
