Just explaining my alterations to your edit:

  • At present, the community of believers or Ummah in Ireland is one of the most diverse in Europe
Where is the evidence for this?
  • Khutbah from Imam Hussein based on Immigrant Council of Irelands', "Labour Migration into Ieland", 2003, p. 5-6 and 11
  • though there are more people from a South Asian background than any other.
could we have statistics and hard evidence to back this up?--Damac 16:29, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

I don't have Stats, Just that. If i had Stats I'd add them. I can tell you that according to the 2002 census, there are 19,147 Muslims in Ireland, over half (10,132) from Dublin. As it's a Census, I'm not sure if the Immigrants from Nigeria and Somalia seeking asylum here were counted.--Irishpunktom\talk 17:26, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
