Islands of San Francisco Bay

There are several islands in San Francisco Bay. This list includes:
- Alameda Island
- Alcatraz Island
- Angel Island
- Bair Island
- Ballena Bay, a very small island off the coast of western Alameda
- Bird Island, a very small island adjacent to Brooks Island.
- Brooks Island
- Brother Islands
- East Brother Island
- West Brother Island
- Coast Guard Island, in the Oakland Estuary between Alameda Island and Oakland.
- Marin Islands,
- East Marin Island
- West Marin Island
- Rat Rock, A very small island just off the coast of Marin County.
- Red Rock Island
- The Sisters Islands
- Treasure Island
- Yerba Buena Island
Not Islands:
- Bay Farm Island, Part of the City of Alameda, between Alameda Island and Oakland International Airport. This is now a peninsula, connected to the mainland by landfill.
- Mare Island is actually a peninsula.
Note that there are other places on the Bay with island in their title. These are actually estuaries:
- Brewer Island, Knight Island, Little Island, Russ Island, Skaggs Island, Tubbs Island
