Islamic University of Bangladesh

Islamic University of Bangladesh is a university in Bangladesh sponsored by the Organization of the Islamic Conference. Abdul Hady Talukdar, President of the Governing Body of the Islamic Academy of Cambridge, UK's Bangladesh Chapter, served as a member of the committee on establishment of the university. Mohamad Maimul Khan, ex-Chair of the Law Department at the Islamic University of Bangladesh, is an acivitst working with Amnesty International-USA as a Country Specialist on Afghanistan. He has published the book Muslim World : Fundamentalism, Constitutionalism, and International Politics in 2002 from the Carolina Academic Press (ISBN 0-89089-045-5).
