The Ishtari are a fictional legacy of vampires, native to the Africafrom White Wolf Game Studio's Vampire: The Masquerade books and role-playing games.
Claiming descent from the goddess Ishtar, ew have stronger emotions than the Ishtarri, related to the Toreador clan. The Ishtari have recently entered the Ebony Kingdom via the Middle East, for their own mysterious reason the Guruhi have granted them belonging. Gourmands and bon vivants, they see themselves as the keepers of the arts, but many other see them merely as covetous. Like their Toreador bretheren they are the most social and most linked to humanity of the Legacies.
